Introductions

• We did introductions since we had a new attendee

Approval of September 26 minutes

• Minutes approved

Genomics workshop recap (Aida and Cory)

• Pushed to the next meeting as Aida and Cory are not attending

IFAS reports (Cory)

• Pushed to the next meeting as Cory is not attending

Budget documents & amounts (Audrey and Ike)

• We will need money to renew membership with international organization
• Last year we did the bronze membership
• We need to reach out to more departments so their collages can sponsor us - stay on it
• Audrey will send the budget out after this meeting
• Possibly restructure the budget

Elections schedule

• May push out the dates since we do not have many nominees - open it for another week
• Sending the elections to the listserve
• Maybe we should advertise the elections outselves to respective departments as well
• Keep elections open on a rolling basis again, to ensure we get the maximum number of board members

Instructor training offers

• Pushed to next meeting to further discuss the budget

Sponsorship emails

• Cory sent out emails with bi-weekly directions to complete sponsorship emails
• Work on securing the contact information assigned to you and try to review the sponsorship email in the next week

Discussion of Listserve & contact lists (Cory and Flora)

• Pushed to the next meeting as Cory is not attending

Discuss future workshops

• Libraries workshop - was virtual and centrally organized in December 2022
• We need to put a request for this in
• Do we have any centrally organized workshops left for this year with our sponsorsip level?
• November 6-7th, 2023
• Audrey is going to fill out the form for centrally organized workshops and see if we are able to have another one this year - shooting for all of November except for the week of Thanksgiving
