• Minutes of the meeting aproved

  Fall ‘Meet & Greet’ Event

• Let us invite more units on campus like UFGI, School of Medicine, DSI
• Set up RSVP for the event to get idea on number to expect
• Tentative date is 27th August 2021. 11.30 - 13.00
• Max will coordinate with Flora and Alithia
• Trista will set up RSVP

  Elections and their timeline

• Announce the election around start of the semester 23rd August
• Nomination will be open till 7th September
• Voting form 13th Sep to 17th Sep 2021
• Trista will draft the nomination forms

  Fall workshops

• Hao updated the group about discussion with libraries group and the workshop will be later in the semister rather than September.
• Max will touch base with Nitya to decide on dates for genomics workshop.

• Explainnation was sought about DSI (http://www.dsiufl.org/)
• Next meeting Trista will chare the meeting and Vijay will be Secretary
